About The Red House Residential Home

The Red House is a welcoming residential care home in Yelverton, with spacious gardens and views towards Dartmoor. We offer permanent care, respite stays and day care, with a familiar team available around the clock. Residents enjoy home-cooked meals, live music, crafts, animal visits and outings, alongside quieter moments with friends. We get to know each person’s routines and interests, helping them feel comfortable and at home.

Facilties at The Red House Residential Home

We have 25 single bedrooms, fitted with TVs (with all the subscriptions!), many with en-suite wet rooms, W/Cs or nearby facilities. Comfortable lounges, a conservatory and large gardens provide space to relax and socialise. Facilities include Wi-Fi, a lift, stairlift, wheelchair access and visitor parking. Our own minibus and car support regular outings. Residents can personalise their rooms, and our kitchen caters for special diets.

We warmly welcome families to visit, meet our team and enjoy a cup of tea. We offer residential care, respite and day care, including support for people with mild to moderate dementia, subject to assessment.
