Southernwood House has provided a very high calibre of care for over 25 years to the community of Spalding and Lincolnshire. We specialise in adult care both within our own facilities as well as community and day care. our team of care and support workers are professionally trained to assist the wellbeing of our residents, and support the families of our residents. We operate an open house policy, therefore you are welcome at anytime to come and see the care and facilities on offer. we also operate respite facilities for short term care, this can prove to be a great way to introduce residents to the type of facilities and care packages provided by Wellbeing Care Group.
Southernwood House a 1920's period property sympathetically extended and recently completely refurbished to very high standards, creating beautiful themed lounges, and communal areas for respite. The dining areas still decorated in the traditional oak panelled walls, and large Victorian fireplace. We have 28 rooms most with en-suite facilities, and also a new "Premium" wing for those residents that wish to reside in our sumptuously plush environment with a private lounge with tea and coffee facilities, fully integrated smart systems to include the latest Samsung Smart TV's and Tablets so that families can stay in touch through Skype or other popular apps. The premium rooms are available as suites, with full individual wet rooms as well as a communal bathroom.
We have recently added the ability to cater for day care within our activities centre located within the grounds of Southernwood House. this has provided further scope to keeping all our residents as active and engaged as possible in there own wellbeing.
Our fees range from fully social funded at £411 up to £900 per week, dependant on the type of facilities chosen and the level of care required.
